This week students will create an understanding of the innovation and accomplishments of the Chinese empires during the era of the Silk Road. Students will complete one day of textbook work, respond to an invention website, http://www.chinawhisper.com/top-20-ancient-chinese-inventions/, complete a graphic organizer on the inventions, personalize the inventions in a ranking list, and write a brief paper on which invention or innovation is most important to humankind today.
